Module I – Letterform Design
After several lectures about the history of typography, type classifications, terminology in typography and numerous research exercises we started exploring typeface design using traditional approaches.

After browsing through one of my books on architectural design I remembered a nice blog on this subject I subscribed to quite a while ago (Architekturblog). They also have a great Flickr and ffffound you should check out.
Here some of their findings I really like:
ISP Support Nightmare

ISP support fiasco
Late Saturday my Internet stopped working. For no apparent reason. I reset all my hardware, rewired everything and almost burst out in tears.
Then I decided to start contacting my ISP ( starts with a ‘V’ and ends with ‘irginMedia’). And surprisingly that’s where the actual nightmare started. It took me until this morning to finally reach someone that was able to help me and all the hours waiting on hold listening to the repeating music cost me about £30 alltogehter! Not mentioning my mood and nervous that got highly stressed.
Now the best part. The reason for the whole fiasco. My monthly bill for broadband services comes to sum X. Since I only recently signed up with my ISP and it is standard procedure that your first bill will include the first 2 months the overall cost were 2X.
For security reason my lovely ISP also has a credit limit in place, lets call it Y. Funny enough the standard total cost of 2X on my first bill was actually bigger then the credit limit Y (2X>Y=no more service).
Is it me just being very naive or shouldn’t things like this happen. Or at least if I try to talk to the nice support hotline staff about this not making any sense at all and wasting my money and time, shouldn’t they be able to give me a better answere than: ‘I am sorry it’s just standard procedure.’
