Galeries Lafayette Berlin

Galeries Lafayette Berlin
The Galerie Lafayette in Berlin presented their Identity in an very natural environment this October.
Their illuminated logo was embedded into a planted bed and attached to the buildings front.
I think this is an interesting piece of environmental design.
BMAS promotes apprenticeships

BMAS promotes apprenticeships
I saw this advertisement in a subway station in Berlin and was very impressed by the idea.
The Bundesministerium für Arbeit und Soziales, which is the german equivalent to the british Federal Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs, promotes taking apprenticeships with this campaign and also introduces its support programmes.
The slogan of this campaign is “Discover, what’s behind it”. I think this works very clever with the graphical visualization of the environment it is being placed in.
Unfortunately I could not find out who developed this campaign nor what the other pieces look like. If anyone has more information about this I would highly appreciate an comment or an eMail.
Mini Berlin – Wall Decoration

Mini Berlin - Wall Decoration
During my last visit in Berlin (October 2008) I came across a rather uncommom wall decoration that emediately brought a smile to my face.
In front of the Mini Store in Berlin somebody actually mounted one of their cars on the wall!
I am not 100% sure if it is actually a proper model but it looks great anyway. It definately caught my attention.
