So far I always trusted Googles judgement when it comes to Malware distributing sites and as soon as such a warning came up I left the website immediately.
Running a search on Google Images today however made me realise that almost every link I clicked was classified as dangerous!
Since some of the content I tried to access was stored by the Wikimedia Group or other quite respected online resources I started wondering if there might have been an error. read more »
Favicon History: Google
Yesterday, on the 9th of January, Google introduced a new Favicon for its main search site – again.
A favicon (short for favorites icon), also known as a website icon, shortcut icon, url icon, or bookmark icon is an icon associated with a particular website or webpage.
The new symbol still features the small “g” that had first been introduced with the Favicon update in June 2008. read more »
